A revelation of luxury: Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet

Stuttgart/Pebble Beach. At this year's gathering of the most magnificent classic cars at Pebble Beach in California, Mercedes-Benz is once again set to present a highlight: the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is a car which, with its sensual, emotionally appealing design and innovative technical concept solutions, defines the ultimate in luxury of the future. At the same time the two-seater model pays homage to the glorious "automotive haute couture" of hand-finished, exclusive cabriolets. The glamorous cabriolet reinterprets classic, emotional design principles in an extravagant way and combines intelligent beauty with classic, aesthetic proportions and a reduced, technoid appearance – a perfect embodiment of the design philosophy of Sensual Purity. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is designed as an electric car. The drive system has an output of 750 hp (550 kW). The shallow underfloor battery allows a range of over 200 miles (500 kilometers according to the NE…

Behold Ken Okuyama's Kode 0

Minimal Simplicity. These two words that could characterize this piece of art. A bit of Bertone Carabo, a bit of Lamborghini Bravo and a lot of Aventador. Welcome to the Kode (7)0. Ken Okuyama did a wonderful job in uniting the design language and flavor of the 70's with an Aventador resulting in some very unique approach to a Japanese supercar theme. But the list could go on, Alfa Bella, Lancia Kayak, Bertone Stratos...from every angle is like a tribute to Marcello Gandini's Bertone era. To some extent we may even discover the lines that made Paolo Martin's Ferrari Modulo so famous. But wait there's more. Jason Castriota's SSC Tautara front end. At least on a taste level. Amazing. So many icons in one car, this truly is art.

So Long Viper, See You In a Couple of Years.

When the Camaro was having a break, deep inside we knew it will be back. The people really believed it was the end. But the feeling was still there. A couple of years later the concept roared in. Teaching a lesson. It only takes a couple of brave enthusiastic with deep roots in passion. On the right places.

Thriving market
Which is not the case this time. However the same deja vu feeling returned. Viper died. For now. But you should be aware it did not die of natural causes. It has been meticulously destroyed. Killed. Willingly or not, but killed. By taking the right steps. If you want to destroy a healthy company in the shortest time period possible, follow these very guides. Not understanding, not knowing and of course incompetence. First by DC (that almost took down the entire Chrysler empire like a virus) and then by FCA closely following its footsteps. Which was even worse. The market is still there. Alive and kicking. Stronger than ever. Look at Porsche sales numbers, look at La…
