Next Porsches

Two words that makes every car fanatic go crazy. Next stands for future. Porsche stands for automotive passion. Lets see what the future might bring us from Porsche. Not too long ago we learned that the sportscar manufacturer from Stuttgart is preparing a surprise for Detroit. We also know that it will be a major hit.

Besides the new 911 (991) and the Cajun, the guys from Zuffenhausen might be working on the successor of the 928, a high-performance coupe, a real GT and several other models yet to be confirmed. Various illustrations deal with the future of the German manufacturer.

The new coupe is likely to be based on the Panamera. As the sketch from the Porsche hints at.
As for the Cajun, it was already confirmed.  So stay tuned, the next Porsches are coming.

Cajun

A green light has been lit and the Cajun is a go. The production is set to begin in early 2013, likely as a 2014 model. The Cajun will share its basic underpinnings and powertrains with the Audi Q5, which itself is due for a refresh about the same time the Cajun arrives. But unlike the Q5, the Cajun will be offered in both two-and four-door configurations. It will be smaller than the Cayenne, available with a 3.6-liter V6 delivering 300 hp and capable to a performance from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
